Final Four

#1UNC (33-3) 82
#1Kansas (33-3) 87

The number one overall seed falls as a very balanced Kansas team forces turnovers and overcomes the struggles of two of its key starters as well as a double-double by National Player of the Year candidate Tyler Hansbrough to advance to the championship game with an 87-82 victory over UNC.

Final Four

#1Memphis (38-1) 77
#1UCLA (35-4) 75

A couple of late free throws keep the game close, but Memphis dictates tempo and perseveres past UCLA. Just like the other National Semifinal, a Player of the Year candidate makes it difficult with a double-double, yet this one comes up short with the ball in his hands at the end of the game.

Championship

#1Kansas (34-3) 78
#1Memphis (38-2) 76

Rock Chalk. The Kansas Jayhawks again utilize their incredible balance and shooting ability to hold off the ultra-quick Memphis Tigers and win an exciting, back-and-forth national championship game - their third NCAA championship and first in 20 years.
